How Interactive Patient Boards Work

  • A designated person poses questions that appear on screens in waiting areas

    ANY question can be asked.  The goal can be to engage patients, collect their feedback or both.

  • Patients text their responses to the screen, which become part of a multimedia experience

    Patients contribute to a common screen where they see their feedback, and each other’s. Our image bank shows pictures relating to their comments in real-time, which is engaging and fun.  There is a text-only option as well. (Users are not able to send photos.  It’s all controlled by Lively.  14 million off-color words are blocked so they never appear on-screen and custom block words can be added).  No apps or downloads are required.

  • Participants receive an automatic, customized text message

    A one-time “thank you” message is texted automatically to participants.  This can include custom reminders about new patient services, reminders to check for upcoming appointments and insurance enrollments (for Community Health Centers).

  • The admin receives a report with everyone’s feedback, which informs the next set of questions.

    This triggers a cycle of continual, shared learning in a very visible way.
